" Bringing the ocean to your bath "

Sea Salt containing salt and seaweed extract is particularly helpful in relaxing tired muscles and joints at the

end of a long day. Salts also contain a wide variety of trace minerals. Some experts believe these minerals

dilate the pores and relax the muscles, allowing the absorption of soluble vitamins into the skin.

Bathing with seaweed is another way to experience the benefit of the sea at home. Dulse and kombu, two types

of dried seaweed, are available at health food stores and specialty markets are wonderful skin softeners. For a

treat you can also add your favorite essential oil. Lavender or marjoram essential oils are good ones to use if

you're worried about insomnia. Essential oil in your tub is used by the drops, when not using them in your tub

always use essential oils diluted in oil I prefer Olive oil. Most massage therapist prefer almond oil. Use only

essential oils, Synthetic oils won't hurt you, but all they have is fragrance.

Only essential oils contain the therapeutic properties that were originally in the herbs.

Formula for bath.


If you use Kombu, soak the seaweed in a separate bowl of warm tap water (just enough to cover) before

crawling into the tub. Them apply the slippery gel from the kombu to your skin. You'll feel it's skin softening

effect right away.

Dulse flakes

Add two parts dulse flakes to one part sea salts soak in tub.

Sea Salt

Use approximately ¼ cup of sea salts per bath. For oils add 3 to 5 drops of a favorite essential oil to the sea

salts before adding to the bath.

Formula for baths in larger quantities.

Use 20 drops or less of essential oils per cup of salts. Keep in safe place for that special time. (Remember

to light your essence candles and mood music.) Enjoy. !!!

From your garden this is a Great side dish.

Or fresh from the Organic store Sliced Zucchini,

Serves 4

2 medium Zucchini, sliced

1 1/2 Tablespoons Olive oil

1 1/2 teaspoons Garlic, minced

1/2 cup Onion, sliced

1 cup Tomatoes, diced

1 1/2 Tablespoons Basil, fresh, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup Parmesan, grated

Heat the oil in a heavy skillet. Add the zucchini, onion,

and garlic. Cook until just soft. Toss in the tomatoes and

basil. Cook for 2 minutes. Check the seasonings. Remove

from the heat and sprinkle on the cheese. Serve warm.
